Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's timeless musical will head to the Bridge Theatre this December, bringing the show back to London for the first time since 2016.

Directed by Jordan Fein, who is known for his recent Olivier Award-winning work on Fiddler on the Roof, Into the Woods plays for a strictly limited 20-week season.
Kate Fleetwood (My Master Builder, Wyndham's Theatre) will play the role of the Witch, Jamie Parker (Next to Normal) as the Baker, Katie Brayben (Tammy Faye, Almeida Theatre) as the Baker's Wife,
This is a developing story, with further casting to be announced throughout September 16.
Into the Woods intertwines classic fairy tales, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel, as their characters embark on quests to fulfil their deepest wishes. However, as their stories unfold, they soon discover that getting what they want comes with unexpected consequences, leading to a powerful exploration of responsibility, morality, and the true meaning of "happily ever after."
The production will feature design by Tom Scutt (Cabaret), with further creatives for the run to be announced.
Into The Woods will play at the Bridge Theatre from 2 December 2025 through to 18 April 2026.
