UK premiere of Sanaz Toosi's ENGLISH announced

Sanaz Toossi's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, ENGLISH will receive its European premiere at The Other Place in Stratford-upon-Avon, ahead of performances at Kiln Theatre.

Directed by Diyan Zora, ENGLISH tells the story of four adult Iranian classmates who grapple with learning English as a foreign language.

The cast includes Nadia Albina (The Merchant of Venice, The RSC), Lanna Joffrey as Roya, Sara Hazemi (A Guest, Vaults Festival) as Goli, and Serena Manteghi (The Time of Our Lies, Park Theatre) as Elham.

The creative team includes Designer Anisha Fields, Sound Designer George Dennis, Movement by Maria Tarokh, and Casting by Lotte Hines CDG.
