The stage musical phenomenon currently ranked as the 10th longest-running show in West End history continues to captivate audiences at its home, the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

With brand-new production images released today, Wicked has announced a booking extension, with performances now running through to 31 May 2026.
The London company currently stars Emma Kingston (Heathers The Musical) as Elphaba alongside Zizi Strallen (Mary Poppins) as Glinda. They are joined by Carl Man (& Juliet) as Fiyero, Sarah Ingram (Legally Blonde The Musical) as Madame Morrible, Michael Matus (The Baker’s Wife, Menier Chocolate Factory) as The Wizard, Hannah Qureshi (Hamilton) as Nessarose, David McKechnie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge) as Doctor Dillamond and Ross Carpenter (The Book of Mormon) as Boq. Laura Emmitt (Frozen: The Musical) returns to Wicked London as Alternate Elphaba, having previously covered the role in the West End and Lydia Gerrard (The Phantom of the Opera, UK & Ireland Tour) joins as Standby for Glinda, having covered the role on the recent tour.

Brought to the stage by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman, Wicked has been captivating audiences since 2006 with its story of how two unlikely university friends embark on a journey to becoming 'Glinda the Good' and the 'Wicked Witch of the West'. The musical, which is based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, reimagines the backstory and future possibilities of some of the most beloved characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Wicked has earned itself over 100 global awards and has also been adapted for a film, with the second part, Wicked: For Good, releasing in cinemas this November.
