I bought the tickets for a visiting relative and I had seen clips of the show. Wasn't sure if this would be for me. It was a brilliant and exuberant musical. The cast were on top form and the audience (which I pay close attention to as well) were thoroughly enjoying themselves. The choreography and script which have to be memorised, sung, danced and acted by the cast is truly remarkable. I appreciate the level of dedication that has gone into a production like this. Just a final note, this is the first time I have seen an audience give a standing ovation at a show that I have attended...truly deserved.

This was my fourth visit to Hamilton at the Victoria Palace, and it was just as good as the other three. A wonderful show, with fantastic players, and an appreciative audience. Lafayette/Jefferson wasn’t as good as others I have seen, but otherwise brilliant.

I’d heard many different opinions about this show and as I have an open mind decided to go .What I didn’t realise that the dialogue was done in rap. . It was very cleverly done but you needed to concentrate on the lyrics as it was quite fast. Very funny in places and knowledge of the early American presidents would certainly help.I do believe it’s based on true history facts .

Only once in my many years of theatre going have I left before the end. I could not wait for the interval so I could leave without interruption to the other audience members. I knew the story and I knew the style it was going to be done in which is why I booked but it was so poorly executed and I was very disappointed generally. I would not recommend this show to anyone.

My advice is to hear the original cast recording, preferably more than once before attending the performance. The text comes at you very quickly with different characters and accents. It is hard for a mature person to keep up with the dialogue. It is worth the effort. Beautifully written, beautifully performed, and the music is thrilling.

Make sure you know the story before you go, it can sometimes be hard to follow the story through the singing, that way you can immerse yourself in the music and the amazing voices! The dancing was fabulous too! The whole production was epic, at times it made the hairs on my arms stand on end, can’t say better than that!

This was a surprise for my son’s 18th & wedding anniversary both absolutely loved it. Outstanding performances from all the cast; choreography, costumes & music were excellent. Storyline easy to follow. Great location; allow plenty of time to get there; we had a panic as there were severe tube delays & we ended up having to get a taxi & only just making it in time. Busy but easy to get drinks from bar at interval. Staff friendly & helpful. Very warm in theatre so don’t overdress. All in all a night to remember & worth every penny; brilliant!

I had watched the original recording of the show many times on Disney+ and this far exceeded my expectations. I can tell everyone involved obviously worked extremely hard on this production and it definitely showed. Having chosen this musical based on each of our daughters' opinions, I was not able to enjoy it completely because the lyrics were difficult to follow and my Italian friend struggled even more. It would be a big help to be able to follow the songs by having them on a screen or printed in the programme which could be read prior to the show.
