It will be the latest stage production to make it to the big screen via National Theatre Live, joining this year’s lineup alongside Hamlet, The Playboy of the Western World, and The Fifth Step.
The production stars Bryan Cranston as Joe Keller, Marianne Jean-Baptiste as Kate Keller, Paapa Essiedu as Chris Keller, Tom Glynn-Carney as George Deeverand, and Hayley Squires as Ann Deever. Aliyah Odoffin, Richard Hansell, and Zach Wyatt complete the company.
All My Sons made its first stage debut in 1947. The production won Tony Awards for Best Author and Best Direction of a Play and was later adapted into two films in 1948 and 1987. It was last performed in London in 1948.
The play follows Joe Keller, a businessman whose past decisions during World War II come back to haunt him and his family. As secrets are revealed, the story explores how far people will go to protect their loved ones.
Directed by Ivo Van Hove, the creative team includes Scenic and Lighting Designer Jan Versweyveld, Costume Designer An D’Huys, Sound Design by Tom Gibbons, and Casting by Julia Horan CDG. The Dramaturg is Ola Animashawun.
The cinema release is planned for 16 April 2026.
