An alternative ending to Shakespeare's tragedy is just the start for this brash, silly pop musical. Like many jukebox musicals, your enjoyment of shallow, bombastic and camp & Juliet depends on how willing you are to switch your brain off and go along with a paper-thin plot and shoehorned-in songs.
