Calixto Bietio’s beloved opera, Carmen, heads to the London Coliseum this month - directed by ENO favourite and Olivier Award-nominated director Jamie Manton. This striking opera production explores the complex relationships between the sexes, set at the tail-end of Franco’s regime in the 1970s. Expect a powerful story of love, obsession, and seduction this fall.
Elf The Musical, Aldwych Theatre

It seems far too early to be thinking about seeing a festive production but there’s nothing quite like the joy of Elf the Musical which returns to the West End at the tailend of the month. Carrie Hope Fletcher and Joel Montague lead the cast in this fantastic musical for the whole family, inspired by one of the most popular Christmas films.

Calum Finlay’s riotous comedy Fanny makes its London debut, following its acclaimed world premiere at the Watermill Theatre last year. It stars co-founder of Mischief Charlie Russell as Fanny Mendelssohn, the older sister of Felix Mendelssohn, who impersonates her brother by accepting an invitation to premiere a new orchestral work for the Queen.
