New production pictures for Newsies released

Newsies tickets Hot off the press, it's time to seize the day and check out these production pictures from Newsies!

A huge hit on Broadway and winner of several Tony Awards in 2012, Newsies celebrates its UK premiere at Troubadour Wembley Park tonight.

The show has already become a hit with audiences, and it's recently been announced that Newsies is extending its season to 16 April 2023.

Newsies tells the uplifting story of a defining moment in American history - the Newsboys strike of 1899 against Joseph Pulitzer and other publishers who tried to take more than their fair share of the young worker's earnings, and Manhattan newsboy Jack Kelly, who formed his own union.

The show is brought to life by music by the iconic Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and a book by Harvey Fierstein.

The show's incredibly talented cast includes Michael Ahomka-Lindsay as Jack Kelly, Moya Angela as Medda Larkin, Bronte Barbe as Katherine Plumber and Cameron Blakely as Joseph Pulitzer.
