Emily Lin (The Odyssey, National Theatre) will direct a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream, which will take place under starry, summer skies within the Globe Theatre from 23 April. The production is designed by Aldo Vazquez, with costumes by Fly Davis.

From 7 May, the theatre's Artistic Director, Michelle Terry will play Mother Courage in Anna Jordan's translation of Mother Courage and Her Children by Bertolt Brecht. The production, which will run until 27 June, will be directed by Globe Associate Artist Elle While. It will be the first time the play has been staged at the Globe. Design for Mother Courage and Her Children is by takis.

Much Ado About Nothing runs from 11 June to 24 October, directed by Chelsea Walker, who returns after working on the 2024 production of All's Well That Ends Well. Set in a sun-soaked world of style, status, and sharp tongues, old wounds surface, and reputations hang by a thread beneath Messina’s polished exterior. The production will be designed by Sami Fendall (Brigadoon, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre).

Shakespeare's rarely staged comedy of love, desire and wit, Love's Labour's Lost, will be staged from 17 July to 13 September with Indiana Lown-Collins making her Globe directorial debut. Katie Lias (Burnt at the Stake, Shakespeare's Globe) will provide the design.

Associate Artistic Director Sean Holmes and Globe Associate Artist Charlie Josephine will co-direct As You Like It, running from 14 August until 25 October. Charlie Josephine (Pinocchio, 2025) will star in the production as Orlando alongside Lola Shalam (Romeo and Juliet, 2025) as Rosalind. The Globe Theatre will transform into the wild and magical Forest of
Arden, where Rosalind, Celia, and their friends flee the Duke’s cold court and enter a place alive with joy, music, and
unexpected possibilities. Design will be by Paul Wills.

This summer, an epic family adventure titled A World Elsewhere will be staged in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. The production, directed by Globe Director of Education Lucy Cuthbertson, follows Cass, a boy whose imagination has taken him and his imaginary friends on magical adventures inspired by his Grandma’s love of Shakespeare. But when his stories begin to lose their spark, Cass faces new challenges to restore the magic of his imagination. A World Elsewhere will bring together the team from Rough Magic and Midsummer Mechanicals. It is written by Kerry Frampton and Ben Hales and will feature design by Rose Revitt.

There's definitely so much to look forward to at the Shakespeare's Globe over the coming months!
