Trailer released for Into the Woods revival at Bridge Theatre

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical, which has been revived in London for the first time since 1990, is helmed by director Jordan Fein, with set and costume design by Tom Scutt.

Playing at the Bridge Theatre until this spring, Into the Woods intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and explores the consequences of the beloved characters, like Little Red Riding Hood and Cinderella, quests.
The musical was the second collaboration between Sondheim and Lapine after they worked on Sunday in the Park with George (which is rumoured to be playing in London next summer!). Since its debut in San Diego in 1986 and subsequent productions over the years, including the original West End production in 1990 at the Phoenix Theatre, it is one of the best musical revivals to see in London during 2026.
