Could Mel Brooks’s Young Frankenstein be coming to the West End?

Young Frankenstein Now a legend of musical theatre, Mel Brooks is the creator of world famous productions such as The Producers and Shinbone Alley, but now the comedian and writer is alleged to be remounting his musical version of the 1974 film Young Frankenstein, this time for a London audience.

Whispers on the theatrical grapevine are saying that Brooks is searching for a West End home for the reimagined production and has his sights set on some of the biggest venues that theatreland has to offer.
