Enjoy some great performances at the National Theatre AND raise money for Syria

Moving Stories I recently heard from the actress Emma Manton about the chance for you to enjoy a no doubt superb afternoon at the National Theatre and raise money for a good cause.

She writes “the refugee crisis of last summer and autumn exposed a humanitarian disaster in Syria and huge suffering elsewhere in the middle east. And it's far from over. I've organised a star-studded benefit performance on the afternoon of Valentine's Day (Sunday 14 February) at the Lyttleton Theatre. Review: GUYS AND DOLLS at the Savoy Theatre

Guys and Dolls Guys and Dolls has triumphantly transferred from Chichester to the Savoy Theatre.

In my opinion it’s one of the most perfectly constructed musicals ever written. Every song is a joy, every joke is funny and it has four of the most lovable characters you’ll ever find in any show making the romance all the sweeter.

Review: WONDER.LAND at The National Theatre

Wonder.Land - National Theatre I’m a huge fan of theatre productions that add a modern twist to well-known stories, making them more relevant to modern audiences. WONDER.LAND, the National Theatre’s collaboration with Daman Albarn (from the 90’s pop group Blur) could be one of these productions, however Lewis Carroll’s original Victorian tale of a girl discovering marvels beneath a rabbit hole barely survives in this digital oriented spectacle.
