The news of the extension, which will add two extra weeks to the run in London's West End, follows strong early demand for tickets to see this final chapter in the classic comedy series.

I'm Sorry, Prime Minister will play at the Apollo Theatre, following a successful run at The Barn Theatre, and two runs at Theatre Royal Bath and Cambridge Arts Theatre.
This is the final chapter of British political satire Yes, Minister, written and directed by BAFTA Award-winning Jonathan Lynn. The acclaimed British comedy series originally aired from 1980 to 1984 and again from 1986 to 1988. A sharp and witty political satire, it follows Jim Hacker, a government official hoping for a quiet retirement as the head of Hacker College, Oxford. But instead of peace, Hacker finds himself facing the ultimate modern crisis...
Griff Rhy Jones will return to the West End and star as ex-Prime Minister Jim Hacker alongside Clive Francois, who will reprise the role of Sir Humphry Appleby. The play will see the pair in their old age, facing up to life in their retirement. I'm Sorry, Prime Minister will be as cutting and catastrophically funny as ever.
Further casting and creatives to be announced.
I'm Sorry, Prime Minister will play at the Apollo Theatre from 30 January to 9 May 2026.
