Lucie Jones to return to the West End production of Les Miserables

The actress, singer, and presenter will return to the West End's longest-running musical for a limited time, reprising her role of Fatine from later this month.

Lucie Jones played the role in the West End back in 2001 and more recently on the World Tour Arena Spectacular. Jones has a successful career already in musical theatre, with credits including Wicked, Waitress, and most recently the World Premiere of 13 Going on 3 The Musical, which took place in Manchester last year. She will join Les Miserables for a limited time from 19 January to 11 April 2026.
The current cast includes Ian McIntosh (Jesus Christ Superstar, UK Tour) as Jean Valjean, Jacob Dachtler (Mamma Mia! The Party) as Marius, Robson Broad (Moulin Rouge! The Musical) as Enjolras and Annabelle Aquino (West End debut) who now steps into the role of Cosette. They join Stewart Clarke as Javert, Luke Kempner as Thénardier, Katie Hall as Fantine, Amena El-Kindy as Éponine, and Claire Machin as Madame Thénardier.
The company is completed by Hollie Aires, Aidan Banyard, Ella May Carter, Nicholas Carter, Matthew Dale, Irfan Damani, Lily De-La-Haye, Lila Falce-Bass, Sophie-May Feek, Jessica Johns-Parsons, Seán Keany, Chris Kiely, Sam Kipling, Mia Lamb, Sarah Lark, Ollie Llewelyn-Williams, Matthew McConnell, Aaron-Jade Morgan, Adam Pearce, William Pennington, Jordan Simon Pollard, Lewis Renninson, Danielle Rose, Georgia Tapp, Noah Thallon, Imaan Victoria, and Danny Whelan.

Celebrating its 40th Birthday in London last year, Les Misérables is a sweeping musical set in 19th-century France, following the journey of Jean Valjean, a former prisoner seeking redemption while being relentlessly pursued by the police inspector Javert. The story weaves together themes of justice, love, and revolution, as Valjean's life intersects with those of other struggling characters during a period of social unrest.
The production currently continues to play at the Sondheim Theatre until 3 October 2026.
