This powerful, emotional musical reimagines the story of the 1985 Live Aid concert, one of the greatest musical events in history, and all the people who brought it together. It features hit songs from Queen, David Bowie, U2, and Elton John, combining a high-energy concert experience with a nuanced, gritty look behind the scenes of this unforgettable event. Just For One Day has seen a record-breaking journey from the Old Vic in January 2024 to the West End, and the closure comes as the Shaftesbury Theatre prepares for a period of refurbishment.

MJ The Musical has been delighting fans of the King of Pop since it first opened in March 2024, retelling the story behind Michael Jackson’s 1992 Dangerous World Tour while diving into the singer’s troubled past in an emotional and stirring tribute. It quickly became wildly popular for its electrifying choreography and set list of over 25 of Jackson’s greatest hits, including Billie Jean, Beat It, Thriller, and Man in the Mirror. It currently stars Jamaal Fields-Green, who made history as the first performer to play the title role on Broadway, the West End, and its US tour.

Closes: 7th March 2026
This powerful revival of Arthur Miller’s classic play about the dark side of the American Dream instantly drew audiences with its jaw-dropping star power. It stars Hollywood heavyweight Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as Joe Keller, a corrupt businessman grappling with his actions during World War II as his family mourns the loss of their son. Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Paapa Essiedu also star, with the visionary Ivo van Hove directing. After a successful opening in November 2025, this visceral and harrowing play is leaving the London stages this spring but will release in cinemas in April 2026.

Closes: 12th April 2026
Back to the Future The Musical hit the stages in 2021 and quickly became one of the most beloved staples of the West End, with a staggering 1900 performances. In this stage adaptation of the popular 1980s sci-fi classic film, Caden Brauch and Cory English star as Marty McFly and Doctor Emmett Brown as they embark on a hijinks-filled journey through time in the time-travelling DeLorean. The show instantly won over fans of the film as well as newcomers with its jaw-dropping special effects, including a car that flies over the audience. Now it’s finally saying goodbye after a thrilling five-year residency, but Marty and Doc’s adventures will continue in a first-ever UK wide tour starting October 2026.
