Summer is finally upon us, and there's no better summer activity than a trip to the theatre. Soak up the sunshine in a beautiful outdoor theatre with Much Ado About Nothing or A Midsummer Night's Dream, get up close and personal with a screen star like Sandra Oh in The Misanthrope, or experience the spectacle and dazzle of a returning classic like Jesus Christ Superstar... the options are limitless! Here are 13 shows that we're most excited to see open in June.

Sinatra fans will go wild for this new musical about the life and musical legacy of the legendary Frank Sinatra, chronicling the highs and lows of his incredible career, his love affair with Ava Gardner, his battle against negative press, and his great comeback. This thrilling, inspiring musical features over 20 of Sinatra's most beloved hits, including "That's Life", "One For My Baby", "The Best Is Yet To Come", and "Come Fly With Me". Opens 3rd June.
Glengarry Glen Ross at the Old Vic

A major new revival of David Mamet's Pulitzer Prize-winning play from Tony Award-winning director Patrick Marber, who previously revived this thrilling, funny drama for Broadway. The twist: it will feature an all-female cast for the first time, including Indira Varma and Rosa Salazar. Revisit the
scintillating story of four real estate agents competing to make the most sales, no matter the cost, with a bold new take on a story about

White Rabbit Red Rabbit at the Duchess Theatre

From Nassim Soleimanpour and Omar Elerian comes a one-of-a-kind, boundary-defying, experimental production in which a different performer takes to the stage each night with a brand-new script and performs with no director or rehearsals. Featuring a dazzling roster of performers like Riz Ahmed, David Tennant, David Harewood, and Jodie Whittaker, this is a stunning exploration of obedience, choice, and freedom of expression. Opens 8th June.

Sandra Oh stars as the titular Misanthrope in this modern adaptation of Moliere's classic comedy of manners, in which a brilliant but misanthropic novelist lashes out against the sycophantic society around her and risks destroying her reputation. Martin Crimp's wickedly funny and clever retelling will relocate this classic play to the modern day, with Moliere's anti-hero reimagined as a woman, in a searing and contemporary take on this dark comedy about public perceptions. Springwood at Hampstead Theatre

Stanley Tucci makes his London directorial debut with Richard Nelson's witty, poignant exploration of a pivotal moment in history. In the days leading up to World War II, King George VI and President Roosevelt meet at the latter's country home along with their wives, leading to a weekend full of negotiations, culture clash, and spilled secrets. Jesus Christ Superstar at the London Palladium

Arcadia at Duke of York’s Theatre

Carrie Cracknell's Olivier-nominated revival of Tom Stoppard's Arcadia returns after a sold-out run at the Old Vic. It takes place across two timelines: in the past, a teenage prodigy investigates sex and mathematics with her tutor, while in the present, a group of scholars try to sniff out a historical scandal. Witty, clever, moving, and provocative, Arcadia explores the nature of time and the relationship between order and disorder. Opens 20th June.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre

To Kill a Mockingbird at Wyndham’s Theatre

Aaron Sorkin's critically acclaimed stage adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird returns to the West End. Based on the 1960 coming of age novel by Harper Lee, in which six year old Scout Finch narrates the story of her father Atticus and his attempts to defend a black man falsely accused of rape in a southern town, the story has continued to inspire and fascinate readers and audiences in the decades since it was first written. Richard Coyle reprises his role as Atticus Finch in this raw, unflinching retelling of a beloved story. Opens 25th June.
