Entertaining for all the family. Not too long for little ones. Perfect for age 6 and up is the sweet spot. Funny bits and interesting bits for all ages. Very well written and performed. Lots of songs.

A far from horrid show.

Two hugely talented performers Emma Swann and Neal Foster play everyone in this sprint through all the horridness of British history from Boudicca to Burke and Hare and do it marvellously lurching seamlessly from character to character from king to queen with consummate ease and the odd witty song. Unfortunately a lot of the wit and content goes over the largely young audience’s heads who prefer all the fart gags and silly interruptions. Luckily there are many. But I feel for these two fantastic actors when a superb sketch is rewarded with little response. Whereas all the farts get the cheeers every time. Having said that the King John character who is a little kid himself brought the house down. My ten year old loved it. Especially the farts. .

Horrible, but Wonderful and Happy, too

This holiday show would suit parents, grand parents and also (nearly forgot) kids, too. The 2 performers show great connection with their audience - kids and oldies - the historical content is hugely enjoyable and at the same time accurately informative. Their costume and character changes were slick and unfailingly funny. Looking forward to next year.

Amateur. While children under five seemed to appreciate the humour my teenager and I had second hand embarrassment over the quality of the performance. Onl two actors who had to carry the entire show, no set charge, not stimulating, lame jokes. This could have been so much better. Very disappointed.

Great show that both my five-year-old daughter and I enjoyed. Slightly disappointed that it didn't include any of our favourite songs from the TV series, but can't really complain since I've had "Burke & Hare, Burke & Hare, Killing people everywhere" in my head ever since. Actors were great, some good gags for the parents too, and excellent value.

Educational and super funny

Fun for kids and adults

This is a show aimed at children but with Easter eggs for the slightly older audience (parents/adults old enough to remember the Fast Show and Postman Pat). I think I enjoyed the show more than my 9 and 7 year old kids.
