Intimate Apparel in London
This multi award-winning play, brimming with wonderful characters, is set in 1905 in New York City where Esther, a black seamstress, sews exquisite lingerie for clients who range from wealthy white patrons to prostitutes. She has saved enough to allow her to dream of one day opening a beauty salon for black women, and at 35 years old, longs for a husband and a future. When she begins to receive beautiful letters from a lonesome Caribbean man who is working on the Panama Canal, it looks like life may be about to take a different course.

Very disappointed customerI was 6 minutes late and refused entrance to the show. I was told that was the policy, although no where on the online form does it say this. I want a full refund. In another email, I will come back with the confirmation number and hope that you will be able to refund my ticket. In addition, the people at the theater were very unsympathetic (I got lost). When I saw patrons going into another play that was just about to start, and asked if I could see that play instead, they said no. Very poor customer service.
