Let It Be in London

You’ll love Let It Be!

Back in the 1960s, millions of people were inspired and delighted by The Beatles with their fresh look, long hair, cheeky outlook and rebellious attitude. John, Paul, George and Ringo took the pop world by storm and won a succession of number one positions in the charts until their break-up in 1970.

Now’s your chance to help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of one of the planet’s most successful ever bands, live in London's West End. Let It Be is simply spectacular, a top theatrical concert experience featuring more than twenty of the band’s greatest hits.

Expect a multi-media on-stage feast you’ll never forget as talented live musicians play all the Beatles songs you love best. You’ll love the costume changes, made at regular intervals for an authentic experience that covers the early days, when the band’s iconic pudding basin haircuts almost caused a moral panic, to the group’s later hippy stage with colourful Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band uniforms.

If you love it so much you have to see it twice, or more, you’ll be delighted to learn that they’ll be changing the set list for every performance. You’ll never see the same show twice!

Let It Be – The story

Expect a faithful, seriously rocking rendition of the band’s meteoric rise from their humble beginnings in Liverpool's Cavern Club, following the group through the Beatlemania stage through to the later days when their masterful musical talents matured. Sing along to world famous smash hits including Twist and Shout, She Loves You, All My Lovin', Yesterday, Hey Jude, Come Together and, of course, Let It Be itself, the show’s rousing signature tune.

All you need is love!

Recommended for people aged six and upwards, this is an unforgettable and truly electrifying spectacle that brings the ‘60s back to vibrant life, cheerful and positive, a real trip back in time to those glorious days when all you needed was love.

A show not to be missed

I am elderly and it took me right back to my youth - the great days of the Beatles! But today EVERYONE enjoys the Beatles, so it simply is a "Must". Don't miss it!

Not a west end show but a good tribute band

This could have been so much better if they had told the story of the Beatles, maybe some thing similar to the Jersey Boys. However the 2 hours of hits were performed well and they got you up on your feet so if you expecting a story forget it but if you want to see a top Beatles tribute band then go and have a bop

Totally disatisfied

It was not a show it was a tribute act. We left during the interval extremely disappointed. Wished we had booked a different show for our last night in London as the other shows we saw were briliant. We would not recommend this as a "show" to anyone.

A trip down memory lane...

This was such a good experience, reliving the music of the Beatles. I grew up in a house where we listened to this all the time, so I know all the lyrics of the songs. I liked how it progressed through the Beatles phases. The costumes is well done and very accurate. The quality was good and the actors even looked like the Beatles. Very enjoyable and real!

BEST SHOW EVER!

Went to the show not quite knowing what to expect! Wow - we were gobsmacked! Me being 15 (and my husband being 17) when the Beatles came on the scene in the early sixties! These four young men could have been John, Paul, George and Ringo! Incredible and outshone all expectations. Their music and singing (and their Liverpool accents) were spot on! We would love to go and see the show again but so disappointed that it only runs in London until early September. Unfortunately we only get up to London twice a year. Please bring it back (or keep it running) - or bring it to the Marlowe Theatre at Canterbury, Kent, near to where we live! Thank you so much for an incredible night of nostalgia!

Excellent show, music is as the originals, costumes great, good accents etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the show. My only reservation, two of the characters on stage were having a private conversation form time to time. (chatting to one another) which is impolite and lacking in professionalism. Please don't.

Great show if you like Beatles songs!

Great show, which is a history of Beatles career from the Cavern café, to the concert in USA and then their final music before splitting up, the performers are great, they performed the songs very well, they actually played Beatles songs with a small amount of info and there was radio footage while they needed to change. The audience were encouraged and invited to get up and sing along, as it happened at their real concerts.

A glorified tribute act. The music was very convincing, but the acting was not up to West-End standard. Having seen Jersey Boys and Sunny Afternoon, I was looking forward to seeing a similar style show to outdo these, as The Beatles are my favourite band.

A number of newsreel items appear on retro TV screens mounted high above the stage, you cannot see them very well if you are in the front 10 rows, so be prepared to have a neck strain at times.

A great show to go and see if you are a beatles fan or like there music, it was very load as you would expect, had upper circle seat in row A at front restricted view was no problem still a good seat, costumes were very good through the era's, john lennon and paul looked the part, as for ringo and George not a real facial likeness, but hey if you shut your eyes you would think it was them song and sound through all the era's of beatles mania. on my way home you cannot but keep singing the tunes you have herd from the show in your head.

The music was good and the actors did their best. But the show as a whole was poor and the money could be better spent on another show. Like being at a Beatles concert

The show was great - really just a concert with Beatles lookalikes. Great music, altho some songs were a bit off. I would have preferred a bit more story and dialogue, but it was good for what it was. Be warned in places the music gets very loud (just like a real concert), and you'll be left hard of hearing for a bit after it all ends...

The best music spoilt by a distorted and overloaded sound system.

Fantastic show and vey true to Beatles original music. Unfortunately by the end of the performance the sound system could not handle the volume and distorted, especially the vocals on some songs. Be aware of uncomfortably load music and flashing lights. But to great effect. My wife and I really enjoyed the experience.
