THE MISER & STEPPING OUT: Is it worth seeing three star shows?

If you ask most people who work in the theatre they’ll tell you they hate the system whereby shows are allocated a quality rating of 1 – 5 stars. It means audiences make a snap judgement based on the scoring and don’t take time to consider the content of the review and decide for themselves whether they’ll enjoy a production or not.


There’s Still Time to see These Olivier Award Nominees!

If you enjoy award ceremonies you’ll know they’re even more fun if you know the work nominated and can root for your favourites. I always try to see all the Best Picture nominees for the Oscars and read the short listed novels for the Booker Prize.
Although some of the shows competing for honours have finished there’s still plenty of productions you can enjoy to help you pick your favourite.
