Producers Kevin McCollum and Jamie Wilson are delighted to announce the arrival of a fresh new comedy musical, Mrs. Doubtfire, based on the iconic movie. It’ll be in London’s West End next summer. Having thrilled audiences at its UK premiere in Manchester earlier in 2022, the London production begins performances at the newly refurbished Shaftesbury Theatre from Friday 12th May 2023.

The beloved 2003 New Line Cinema hit starring Will Ferrell inspired this musical, which tells the charming tale of Buddy, who mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts as a baby, and is transported back to the North Pole to be raised as an elf. Now the respected theatre actress Rebecca Lock will play Emily Hobbs. Elf returns to the West End in a new production at the Dominion Theatre for a strictly limited 8-week season from 24th November 2022 to 7th January 2023.

US soldiers stationed at Hawaii during the Second World War, pace the barracks growling like caged tigers due to the lack of anything to occupy them — aside from posturing, banter and press-ups in readiness for a boxing tournament. Soon will come Japan’s calculated surprise attack on Pearl Harbour, but before then, there’s a fair chunk of James Jones’ 1951 story to get through. The burning question, is will audiences be sufficiently engaged by the characters in this musical, to care what happens to them by the time the devastating aerial attack is delivered?
