It will launch at The St James’s Theatre in March. Adam Long is the co-creator, writer and director of THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE (Abridged), which ran off-Broadway and in the West End for nine years and was nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Comedy. So he knows all about creating a hit show.

ENO Announce 7 performances of a rarely staged masterpiece

Norma - English National Opera The piece is regarded as one of the best examples of the “Bel Canto” style in which the drama is expressed through vocal lines of extraordinary beauty and grandeur that demand exceptional technical control.

Its most famous aria CASTA DIVA has been a showcase for many of opera's most acclaimed sopranos including Giuditta Pasta who created the role, Rosa Ponselle, Maria Callas, Joan Sutherland, Montserrat Caballé and Cecilia Bartoli. But the work is also noted for its powerful choral episodes and two magnificent duets for the two sopranos.

Friends star Matthew Perry returns to the West End with his own play

The End of Longing The American sit-com FRIENDS which ran from 1994 to 2004 has been a permanent background to our lives ever since it captured the world with its vision of loveable and witty twentysomethings starting their adult lives in Manhattan. It’s repeated across the globe, all the time, on satellite TV channels and is as popular as ever with young viewers.

It’s big news then that one of the stars, Matthew Perry, best known for playing Chandler Bing in the highly rated, critically acclaimed series, is to take the lead in a new West End production of his own play, THE END OF LONGING at the Playhouse Theatre.
