Newsies The Musical London Update for Disney’s Newsies at the Troubador Wembley Park Theatre

At last! Now we know the venue for the UK premiere of Newsies. It’s taking place at the Troubador Wembley Park Theatre, where it’s going to be played in the round for a limited season from 28th November 2022. The award-winning Disney production is being re-imagined especially for the venue and the word on the streets is it’s going to be quite something to experience.

Mary Poppins welcomes Louis Gaunt as Bert!

Mary Poppins All change. It’s exciting news. Apparently Louis Gaunt will join the cast of Mary Poppins from 22nd June 2022. He’ll be playing the role of Bert, replacing the talented Charlie Stemp who’s playing Bobby in Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of Crazy for You throughout the summer months. The show carries on delighting audiences at its usual home, the Prince Edward Theatre.

Mamma Mia! Marks its 9000th performance!

Mamma Mia! The Musical On 6th April 2022 Mamma Mia! celebrates its 23rd birthday. The fun originally opened at the Prince Edward Theatre in April 1999. It transferred to the Prince of Wales Theatre in 2004, and onwards to its current home at the Novello Theatre in 2012. The show broke Box Office records at all three venues. The London production has been experienced by over 9 million people so far. Worldwide, the total audience soars to 65 million. This article marks its 9000th performance.
