The play which was developed in the wake of Trayvon Martin’s killing in 2012, FOR BLACK BOYS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE WHEN THE HUE GETS HEAVY is a hard-hitting production about six young Black men who gather for group therapy.

Sarah Snook is heading to the West End in 2024 to star in Oscar Wilde’s classic horror story, THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY. This new version comes directly from Australia and audiences can expect a vibrant and witty contemporary vision for this story, directed by Kip Williams who is Sydney Theatre Company’s Artistic Director.

5. An Enemy Of The People

Henrik Ibsen’s theatrical drama THE ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE will be performed in the English language for the first time next year. The critically acclaimed German version will be adapted by Thomas Ostermeier and Florian Borchmeyer, the play has already been adapted several times previously for stage and screen. This new version will star well-known TV and stage actor, Matt Smith.

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker are a sensational duo of actors who in the New Year will be gracing the stage of the West End in PLAZA SUITE. The dazzlingly good comedy tells the story of three different couples, allowing audiences to look into love and marriage. The production took Broadway by storm so we are so delighted it’ll be heading to London in the New Year!

7. Wedding Band

Set in the deep south of the USA in 1918, WEDDING BAND is a powerful play about the stark reality of the Civil Rights Movement. With the success of School Girls: Or, The African Mean Girls in 2023, we can expect great things from director Monique Touko with this production.

8. Minority Report

A thrilling adaptation of Philip K Dick’s books is heading to the Lyric Hammersmith from 20 April. Set in 2050, it follows the next phase of Dame Julia Anderton’s pioneering pre-crime programme. It detains people for crimes before they are committed. But now Julia is being accused of a pre-murder and we undergo a race against time with her. This will be an interesting one to watch!

9. Leaves of Glass

After a critically acclaimed hit run at the Park Theatre in May, Philip Ridley’s gripping production about memory, manipulation and power is back on the stage - you don’t want to miss it! Hugely popular, LEAVES OF GLASS received huge critical acclaim with people describing it as ‘The play about memory you will never forget!’ (London Pub Theatres).

10. Dr. Strangelove

A little bit of a wait for this one but it’ll be well worth every minute! DR STRANGELOVE, one of the greatest comedy movies of all time will premiere in the West End in the Autumn. The stage version of Kubrick’s 1964 classic, which reveals the story of an unhinged US Air Force general who launches a nuclear attack on the Soviet Union will open at the Noel Coward Theatre
