Full cast announced for David Hare's TEETH 'N' SMILES at Duke of York's Theatre

The 50th anniversary of David Hare's will take place at the Duke of York's Theatre from next month, where it will play for a limited 12-week season.

Written by David Hare and directed by Daniel Raggett, Teeth 'n' Smiles is set in the early 1970s and explores the chaos, disillusionment, and fading glamour of a rock band performing at a Cambridge University Ball. Fronted by Maggie Frisby, this play offers a lens into fame, identity, and decline.
The play first premiered at the Royal Court Theatre in 1975. It was subsequently revived a few times, including at Wyndham's Theatre in 1976 and, more recently, a production was staged at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre in 2002.
Joining the previously announced Rebecca Lucy Taylor, AKA Self Esteem, as Maggie, are Michael Fox (The Land of the Living, National Theatre) as Arthur, Phil Daniels (House of the Dragon, HBO) as Sarrafian, Bill Caple (Dear England, National Theatre) as Nash, Michael Abubakar (Three Sisters, Shakespeare's Globe) as Wilson, Samuel Jordan (Standing at the Sky's Edge, Sheffield Theatres/ West End/ National Theatre) as Smegs, Jojo Macari (The Past is a Tattooed Sailor, Old Red Lion Theatre) as Peyote, Noah Weatherby (Mary Pae Marlowe, Old Vic) as Inch, Joseph Evans (Cyrano, Park Theatre) as Randolph, Aysha Kala (The Father and the Assassin, National Theatre) as Laura, Christopher Patrick Nolan (Macbeth, RSC) as Snead and Roman Asde (Bacchae, National Theatre) as Anson.
Gregor Milne, Damien James, Levi Heaton, Guy Amos, and Daniel Crespin complete the company.
The play has music by Nick Bicât and lyrics by Tony Bicât, with new additional music and lyrics by Rebecca Lucy Taylor. Set design is by Chloe Lamford, costume design by Alex Mullins, lighting design by Matt Daw, sound design by Ben and Max Ringham and music supervision by Liam Godwin. The casting director is Bryony Jarvis-Taylor CDG and associate director is George Jibson.
