A Tale of Two Cities in London

A new play by MATTHEW DUNSTER

Adapted from the novel by CHARLES DICKENS

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times; it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness; it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair; we had everything before us, we had nothing before us”

Sound familiar? How much more do those in power think Europe’s poor can take? When will the people take to the streets of the cities and roar enough is enough?

Please note that the contemporary framing of this production includes moments of violence and the use of strong language.

Tickets are non-refundable in the event of cancellation because of the weather but may be exchanged in accordance with the Weather Policy.

Wonderful evening!

This is a gem of a theatre in a most gorgeous park! The ambiance is fabulous! Everything about the area is great, it's easy to get to and from using the Tubes, you can take a picnic dinner or eat there and the bar is great. I look forward to visiting again soon and enjoying the revolving stage!

Tale of two cities In my top 5 of theatre experiences.

This show was way beyond what we expected and it was an exceptional production. The Kings Head Theatre is to be recommended for the standard of the performance. The small auditorium was packed with enthusiasts. 8 artists portrayed upwards of 20 characters and put there heart and soul into it and we enjoyed Art not for profit that nourished the spirit and left you wanting to see what they will do next. Can they outdo this ?
