Songs for Nobodies in London
You are invited to a ‘truly virtuosic performance... a masterclass’ with songs from with Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday and Maria Callas.
On stage for 90 minutes accompanied by live musicians and ‘performed with astounding versatility’, Bernadette Robinson’s miraculous voice shifts from the smoky blues of Billie Holiday to the thrilling soprano of Maria Callas, via Garland, Cline and Piaf. With consummate ease, she breathes new life into the five legendary performers and the five ordinary women whose lives were changed by their brush with fame.
This ‘tour de force’ performed by the uniquely talented Australian singer and actor in her critically-acclaimed one-woman performance of a lifetime, is ‘a fabulous story’.
Returning due to phenomenal demand, Songs For Nobodies transfers to the West End’s Ambassadors Theatre for a strictly limited engagement from 9th January.

Please note the reviews below are from an old production of Songs for Nobodies.
Overall, a very well put together show. The actress was very impressive who pulled off both the characters and music very well. It's not aimed at young people as it is much out of their generation and can be a little complex at tines. Nevertheless, there was humour, quality stage presence and excellent technical aspects such as a live band and good use of lighing

Its original and I have never seen anything like it. A wonderful performance. Sublime voice and inspiring storylines and back stories that is so heartfelt and heart warming.

Review: SONGS FOR NOBODIES at The Ambassador’s Theatre

The cancellation of several West End transfers has created an opportunity for this highly regarded Australian production to stop off at the Vaudeville Theatre for a short season and it’s well worth a look.
