Andrew Lloyd Webber is once again the toast of Broadway and the West End

Last night the production of SUNSET BOULEVARD, starring Glenn Close, which Londoners enjoyed last year at the Coliseum opened on Broadway to a sweep of rave reviews.
Coming fast on the back of that it was announced that his latest musical SCHOOL OF ROCK has extended its run at the New London Theatre until January next year.

It’s never too early to introduce kids to the performing arts and young children love to dance so it’s great that English National Ballet and English National Ballet School are going to present MY FIRST BALLET: CINDERELLA on a National Tour which visits the Peacock Theatre in the West End 11-22 April returning 18-23 July.


The Ferryman heads to the West End

It’s great that enlightened producers are still producing new plays in the West End so all credit to Sonia Friedman Productions, Neal Street Productions and Royal Court Theatre Productions who’ve announced that they’re transferring Jez Butterworth’s THE FERRY MAN to the West End’s Gielgud Theatre, even before its premiere at the Royal Court on 24th April.
