Set during the Great Depression, the Tony and Olivier Award-winning production by Conor McPherson returns to London for the final time this summer.

Written and directed by McPherson, Girl from the North Country plays at The Old Vic, where it first premiered in 2017.
Set in 1932, the production centers on the community of Duluth, which is facing the harsh realities of the Great Depression. However, a group of wayward travellers find each other and together in a local guesthouse filled with music, hope and soul, they experience love, loss, life and everything in between. The production is supported by music by Bob Dylan, whose songbook is integrated into the narrative seamlessly.

Girl from the North Country plays at The Old Vic until 23 August 2025, with the premiere of Mary Page Marlowe to follow from 29 September to 1 November.
