Only two people on stage? Yes, and yet they manage to fill it from start to finish in "Born with teeth" which gives a surprising new angle on the possible creative relationship between Elizabethan playwrights Christopher Marlowe and William Shakespeare. You will have heard Shakespeare but Marlowe may be just a name. Yet, as the play begins, Marlowe is the big name with friends in high places, unafraid of biting the hand that feeds, and Shakespeare is the young hopeful who naively believes that he can earn a living simply by being a good writer as long as he doesn't upset his masters. Gradually, the play cleverly reveals that Shakepeare has a trick or two of his own. The actors are riveting and the way the power shifts from one to the other over 3 acts as time passes is unexpected to say the least. You don't need to be a literary expert to see this. If you're interested in the creative process and in freedom of speech, "Born with teeth" will certainly give you something to chew over.

The story telling told throughout the three key moments in MJs life together with the fabulous music and ensemble cast was fabulous. The dancers were astounding. The Thriller scene was an absolute showstopper! Would happily watch again! Enjoy.

This clever tale is brought to life by a brilliant cast in a magical theatre. A show for all ages. The staging, music and costumes were truly of Oz standard. The dancing superb. Flying monkeys fabulous. However I’m still being serenaded by the magnificent voices of the leading ladies. They shone so brightly. Bravo to all. Plenty of bars and preorders make it even easier. Bus stops and taxis are abundant. Wicked in London, not to be missed.

MJ The musical was excellent. The 3 ages of Michael - different actors/singers/dancers - were all fantastic. The singing, acting, dancing and all the musicians were incredible. I loved every moment.

I enormously enjoyed this, it benefited from not having an interval. as the dynamic storytelling was not broken...and there's not really a natural break in the story...only if the ship CD performer ( sorry not noted names) was superb. Both a super imitation of CD but also a fine unique performance. Rapport and badinage with audience excellent but not too much. All other performers were excellent and very committed if occasionally a little too emphatic. The idea behind the show was wittily thought out and the use of absurd props added to the enjoyment. My only, slight, negative criticism is that while it was packed with many super filthy jokes, occasionally this got excessive.

This was my fourth visit to Hamilton at the Victoria Palace, and it was just as good as the other three. A wonderful show, with fantastic players, and an appreciative audience. Lafayette/Jefferson wasn’t as good as others I have seen, but otherwise brilliant.

After having won a Tony Award (& one of us having gone to Illinois State), we were expecting a great performance from Sean Hayes. Still, he managed to top our expectations with his mesmerizing performance of Oscar Levant. We will recommend this show to anyone who will listen. It was fabulous! Thank you.
