What is West End Live?

West End Live is a musical theatre festival, the largest in Europe, and it takes place at the Trafalgar Square every June. Organised by the Society of London Theatre and Westminster City Council, the two-day event features over 50 West End musicals, including hits like The Devil Wears Prada and Operation Mincemeat. You can expect energetic, bite-sized live sets by some of the cast on the purpose-built stage for the event.

Entry to the festival is free, and no tickets are required. However, spaces for West End Live fill up quickly and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, there is a ticketed accessible viewing area available for wheelchair users and others requiring assistance.

2025 also marks an important year for West End Live as it will celebrate its 20th anniversary. A special concert is planned for Sunday 22 June will include electric performances from a collective of theatre stars such as Aimie Atkinson, Natalie Paris and Tobias Turley. Performances from the likes of Frozen, &Juliet and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will also feature.

Who will be presenting at West End Live 2025?

The presenters for West End Live 2025 have been revealed. On Saturday 21 June, Divina de Campo (Ru Paul’s Drag Race) and West End star Hannah Lowther (Six The Musical) will take to the main stage. On Sunday 22 June, Zoe Birkett (Tina-The Tina Turner Musical) and Oliver Bowen Tompsett (A Knight’s Tale) will present.

Who is performing at West End Live 2025?

There are so many exciting productions performing at West End Live. The shows featuring in this year’s festival are:

101 Dalmatians, The Addams Family, Back to the Future the Musical, Bat Out of Hell, The Book of Mormon, Brigadoon, Burlesque the Musical, Cabaret, Calamity Jane, The Choir of Man, Clueless, Coven, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Devil Wears Prada, The Diana Mixtape, Disney’s Hercules, Disney’s The Lion King, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, The Frogs, The Great Gatsby, Hadestown, Hamilton, Janie Dee’s Beautiful World Cabarets, Just for One Day, Lovestuck, Magic Mike Live, Mamma Mia!, Matilda the Musical, Les Misérables, MJ the Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, My Neighbour Totoro, Oliver!, Operation Mincemeat, Oscar at the Crown, Peaky Blinders: The Redemption of Thomas Shelby, The Phantom of the Opera, Pop Off, Michelangelo!, The Producers, Roles We’ll Never Play, Sabrage, Showstopper! The Improvised Musical, Sing Street, Six, Starlight Express, This is My Family, Tina – The Tina Turner Musical, Titanique, Westway Presents, and Wicked.

As well as these productions, boyband G4, Marisha Wallace and Rachel Zegler are also confirmed to perform over the weekend.
